Respite Caregivers
Nonotuck is always looking for kind-hearted and nurturing respite workers instrumental in supporting our Shared Living Community. Respite workers offer our members additional support throughout their day, helping them to maintain involvement within their community, explore new interests and cultivate relationships.
A respite provider has a flexible schedule, working as many or as few days in a month as they would like.
Typical activities for a respite worker may include community activities and involvement, supporting the achievement of goals based on the person’s preferences, and development of new activities and choices.

Nonotuck is currently in search of a kind-hearted and nurturing caregiver in the North Adams area who is looking to share their life with a man in his late twenties. This gentleman is looking to live with someone close in age, who will share similar interests, such as exploring the outdoors (hiking, cross-country skiing, canoeing), playing music and attending music concerts, going out to eat, enjoying the theater and possibly dabbling in sound and lighting. Finance Assistant
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant works on behalf of the individuals for which Nonotuck is Representative Payee regarding their financial needs and completes all procedures as per approved Rep-Payee Policies. The Finance Assistant also works alongside the Staff Accountant in the reconciliation of Transaction Reports for those individuals in which Nonotuck has delegated money management responsibilities. The Finance Assistant will also be assigned finance department projects outside of the Rep-Payee program.
