Nonotuck’s Conz Street Team Moves to New Easthampton Office

Nonotuck Resource Associates is excited to announce that our longtime Conz Street, Northampton team has moved to a beautiful new office at 3 Ferry Street in Easthampton.

The move gives the team a new home while carrying forward a remarkable history in Hampshire County. Nonotuck was founded in the county in 1972 by parents of children with disabilities who sought alternatives to institutional care. Over the decades, our local presence has grown alongside some of the longest-standing relationships in Nonotuck’s history. Nonotuck’s connection to Easthampton dates back to its earliest days: the organization’s first program was located in Easthampton in the early 1970s, and its first administrative office—when the organization was still known as Community Homes for Children—was also located in the city. 

The Conz Street team includes multiple employees who have been with Nonotuck for more than 20 years—some for more than 30—as well as caregivers with decades-long connections to the organization.

“Nonotuck’s roots are in Hampshire County. There are people who we support and caregivers who have been here since the very beginning,” says Vice President of Residential Services Janet Yurko.

Now, that history continues in Easthampton.

A New Home at 3 Ferry Street

Located within the One Ferry Street project, 3 Ferry Street is a fully refurbished former mill building that combines modern workspaces with 19th-century industrial architecture. The move also places the team alongside another part of the Nonotuck community: Nonotuck already has an office at nearby 5 Ferry Street, making Easthampton home to two Nonotuck locations.

President and CEO George H. Fleischner previously described the Conz Street team as representing “our history, our values, and the deep relationships that have shaped us for more than fifty years.” Those relationships now enter a new chapter at 3 Ferry Street.
