Disability Employment Awareness Month – Johnathan’s Story

Since 2010, Johnathan Jenkins has made Guido’s Fresh Marketplace in Pittsfield, MA, a friendlier place.

Johnathan, served by Nonotuck, is also a part of a small Supportive Decision-Making (SDM) pilot, led by the Center of Public Representation and supported by Nonotuck. With SDM, people design a system of support—including an SDM team—to help them make their own decisions.

To mark National Disability Employment Awareness Month this October, we sat down with Johnathan to talk about his work at Guido’s.
