Nonotuck Community Encouraged to ‘Rise’ with Kripalu

The Nonotuck community is encouraged to take part in a series of in-person and online programs through the Kriplau Institute in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. As part of our Wellness Initiative, we have built a strong partnership with Kripalu, and since 2015 many of our team members have attended RISE workshops, and have been greatly impacted by these experiences.

You can read more about their experiences at the Nonotuck InfoHub

The upcoming programs are covered by scholarship and will be offered at no cost to participants. The days and time spent in the programs are considered work days and participants will not need to use vacation time to attend. Please note that those applying must be in good standing with their program and get approval from their supervisor. See below for program details. If you are interested in please send an email to Jannelle Robinson including the program you would like to attend and I will send you the registration information.

The RISE™ program is leading the way by impacting individual and organizational performance through yoga and mindfulness-based practices. Each RISE program is specifically designed to support greater clarity and resilience, improved situational awareness, better decision making, work/life integration, and superior long-term performance for individuals and organizations

For the past 10 years, both on and off the Kripalu campus, RISE has delivered this life-changing program to frontline providers and leadership in some of the most critical social institutions in North America: human services organizations, K–12 schools, correctional facilities, law enforcement, and healthcare.

Caregiving with Love:
Guide for Shared Living Providers

Learn how Nonotuck developed a love-based ideology of care. We started our shared living program as an alternative to group homes for people with disabilities. Instead, Shared Living creates genuine life transformation for people with disabilities, as well as families and communities. The true power of caregiving is found through hospitality, authenticity, and love.
