Nonotuck Resource Associates supports individuals with disabilities in the community through Shared Living. You would live with the individual and provide support, supervision and training. Receive an annual stipend in the low $30,000s, clinical support, training and emergency backup.

Shared Living Provider- Florence

Looking for an energetic and cheerful person who enjoys a home life and is willing to move into the Florence home of a young, visually impaired woman. She’s an active, healthy woman in her early 40’s who enjoys her part-time day job. Some of her interests include Scrabble, concerts, playing piano, reading and her dog. She’s looking for someone willing to share their life and activities, to be a friend and a house mate.

Shared Living Provider- Northampton

We are searching for an individual to become a shared living provider for a young man in his early forties. He enjoys the guidance and companionship of having another man around but he is very independent. He prefers living in downtown Northampton, Florence (or possibly Easthampton if you are on a bus route.) He has family in the area and maintains many friendships. This is a flexible situation, that is, if you have a home with a spare bedroom he could move in to your place. Or, you can find an apartment together in a desirable location.

Shared Living Provider- Westfield

We are looking for a couple, with experience, to become the shared living providers for a young man in his late twenties. He is a very engaging young man who really enjoys outdoor sports such as rollerblading, ice-skating and taking long hikes. He works Monday through Friday and has a part-time volunteer job.

You would move in to the home he owns in Westfield, MA (near Southwick.) The home is nestled in a cul-de-sac in a beautiful residential neighborhood. The home has a great deck and a large yard. It is close to shopping, libraries, banks and other services.

This position offers a very generous annual stipend as well as funding for a nearly full-time respite worker. There is strong clinical support and a very active ISP team. This position is available immediately.
